Express from the UK mere hours after the original broadcast, UKTV brings you The Brit Awards 2013. The Brit Awards ceremony is the most anticipated night of the British music industry calendar. Established in 1977, the awards are now an annual glittering, champagne-fuelled, star-studded evening featuring live performances and unique collaborations from some of the biggest artists in the business. In 2012, the event was hosted by Tony-award winning comedian James Corden and included performances by Grammy-award winner Adele, who took home two Brits - including album of the year - and Ed Sheeran, who also won two awards. Other performers included Florence and The Machine, Rihanna, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Olly Murs, Noel Gallagher and Blur, who as winners of the outstanding contribution to music award, closed the show with some of their greatest hits, including Parklife and Girls & Boys.
